Atlanta Braves Lose to New York Yankees 7-0 at ESPN Wide World of Sports

The Atlanta Braves lost to the New York Yankees 7-0 in the final spring training game Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter will play at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney before he retires  at the end of the 2014 baseball season.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    A sold out crowd watched as Ivan Nova pitched two-hit ball for the first time this spring and struck out five in 6 1/3 innings. Carlos Beltran had three hits and drove in two runs and Adonis Garcia raised his spring batting average to .423 with two RBIs.  David Hale went 4 1-3 innings, allowing three runs and walking three.

The Braves go on the road before returning Friday to Disney for a home game against the Detroit Tigers. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 pm.
