(Jan. 9, 2016): Marcelo Avelar, 31, from Sao Paulo, Brazil jumps for joy after winning the Walt Disney World Half Marathon presented by Cigna on Jan. 9. Avelar crossed the finish line in 1:10:17, tying his personal-best half marathon time. In winning the half marathon, Avelar completed a runner’s “hat trick”, as he had won the 5K and 10K earlier this weekend.
