Kelley presented the trophy to the Iowa trio at the College Football Awards on Thursday, Dec. 7 in Atlanta. The award is given annually to the most inspirational figure in college football. The Iowa football program earned the award after starting a heart-warming tradition this season in which the crowd of more than 70,000 at Kinnick Stadium waves each game to the young patients at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital that overlooks the stadium.
