(Jan. 12, 2018) – Minnie Mouse, dressed in her new cheerleader uniform, was the center of attention during a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of The Arena at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Disney Springs Sr. Vice President Maribeth Bisienere and Disney Sports Vice President Faron Kelley took part in the energetic event for the 300,000-square-foot multi-purpose arena, the largest in the country designed with cheer and dance events in mind.
