Tennessee Prep Volleyball Star Leads Team into AAU National Championships at Disney Despite Eye Cancer

Despite having vision in only one eye, Sierrah Lemons (center) has become a star volleyball player and leads her club team into the AAU GirlsÕ Junior National Volleyball Championship tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, beginning Thursday, June 21, 2018. Lemons was diagnosed with eye cancer as a toddler and had her right eye removed on her third birthday. Now, she plays middle hitter for the Georgia Adrenaline AAU team and leads the squad in kills (95 percent), blocks (93 percent) and serving (92 percent), propelling her team to five tournament in 2018. Earlier this week, Lemons, her family and teammates spent time at the Disney theme parks, experiencing DisneyÕs Animal Kingdom Park and rode various attractions such as Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage.
