The winning team was one of five from the Tampa Bay area and among 200 squads from around the world, some featuring former NBA stars, competing in the 13th FIMBA World Maxibasketball Championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Fla.
The event featured teams from 36 countries around the world competing in the 11-day tournament in various age groups, including 50-over, 60-over and 70-over.
