- (Sept. 4, 2016): An estimated 15,000 runners participated in the 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon as they raced the 13.1-mile course that took them through Disney California Adventure Park, Disneyland Park, Angel Stadium and four Orange County cities, with the final stretch going past Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel.
- (Sept. 4, 2016): Jimmy Grabow of Running Springs, Calif. won the men’s 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon with a winning time of 1:06:13, just shy of his 2012 race record of 1:05:25. Grabow led the field of nearly 15,000 runners early on in the race and now holds the top two fastest winning times for the Disneyland Half Marathon. He also holds the second-fastest half marathon time ever for all runDisney races. The 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend took place Sept. 1-4 at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif.
