- Special Olympics Florida athletes from Okaloosa County, Florida, acknowledge the crowd Friday, May 17, 2019, during the opening ceremony for the 2019 State Summer Games at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The opening ceremony was highlighted by the final leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, a 1,500-mile intrastate run that culminated with more than 500 law enforcement vehicles escorting the Flame of Hope into Champion Stadium at Disney.
