- (Dec. 12, 2021) America’s favorite dog, Pluto, poses with America’s fastest dog, Reas, after the three-year-old whippet won the American Kennel Club Fastest Dog USA competition Dec. 12, 2021 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. In the final heat, Reas covered the 100-yard dash in 5.846 seconds (average speed of 34.9 mph) to win the competition televised nationally on ESPN on Christmas Day.
