The Atlanta Braves closed out their 2014 spring training home games with a big win Wednesday at Champion Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in front of nearly 7,000 fans.  The Braves beat the Miami Marlins 9-2 on a brisk but sunny afternoon behind nine strikeouts by pitcher Julio Teheran. Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi gave up four runs in six-plus innings to put the Marlins in a hole and Derrick Mitchell hit a bases-loaded triple and drove in four runs to power the Braves to the win.  One bright note heading into the regular season was Tyler Pastornicky, who had two hits and drove in three runs for Atlanta after returning from ACL surgery.

After a few more spring train road games, the Braves open the regular season against the Brewers on Monday, March 31 in Milwaukee.
