More than 20 area teams among some 660 clubs from around the nation and beyond competed in Florida’s largest youth soccer event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Twenty-five teams from Central Florida took to the pitch over Memorial Day weekend at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (and other area venues) to compete in the top divisions of the Disney Memorial Day Soccer Shootout presented by Danimals. Youth teams from Ocala to Melbourne played against teams from around the country and beyond in the largest youth soccer event in Florida.

More than 660 boys and girls teams (8-under to 19-under), some from as far away as Canada, Mexico, Jamaica and the Bahamas, competed in more than 1,150 games throughout the three-day event.
