The University of Central Florida Knights men’s basketball team gathered around the table for Thanksgiving dinner with Mickey Mouse at Disney’s Contemporary Resort on Wednesday, on the eve of the 12th annual AdvoCare Invitational tournament.

The Knights are competing in the three-day tournament – which tipped off Thanksgiving Day at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort – and faced the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the first round.

The tournament, regarded by basketball experts as one of the best early season tune-ups in college basketball features 2016 NCAA Sweet 16 team West Virginia, as well as the Knights (2-0), who were National Invitational Tournament (NIT)semifinalists last season.  Other participants include Long Beach State, Marist, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon State and St. John’s.
