Sixteen-game home slate against 10 different opponents highlight club’s final season at ESPN Wide of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort
The 2019 Atlanta Braves’ final home spring training schedule at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex features games against some of the top teams in Major League Baseball including the 2017 World Champion Houston Astros, New York Yankees and Washington Nationals.
The Braves begin their home spring training schedule at Champion Stadium on Monday, Feb. 25 when they battle the Nationals. First pitch is set for 1:05 pm.
The Braves will play 16 home games against 10 different teams at Champion Stadium, including three games against the Detroit Tigers and two games each against the Astros, Miami Marlins, New York Mets and the Nationals. The Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays will make one visit each to Disney.
Atlanta is scheduled to play a trio of night games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex against the Phillies (March 8), Yankees (March 18) and Tigers (March 22). Those games start at 6:05 pm.
The Braves face the Mets March 23 at 1:05 pm in their final spring training game at Champion Stadium before moving to their new spring training facility in North Port, Fla.
Disney character appearances and special interactive moments, such as kids running the bases are some of the in-game entertainment opportunities that make Braves spring training at Disney a grand slam.
Individual spring training game tickets for Braves spring training games at Disney range from $15.00 (general admission lawn seats) to $60.00 (lower level reserved seats) and will go on sale November 19.
